The magnetic field at distance from center of loop, resolved into a component along -axis and perpendicular to it. When perpendicular components are summed over the whole loop, the result is zero. That is, by symmetry any element on one side of the loop sets up a perpendicular component that cancels the component set up by an element diametrically opposite it.
